Underrated daily-job software engineering skills

Focusing solely on coding is deprecated. Coding is a key part of our job as engineers, but we often we forget all the other engineering skills we need to develop to be successful.

As engineers, coding is our first order of business. Using code as a way to solve challenging problems is what we get paid for… This is true, but it misses about 50% of the picture.
